Counsel of God!!

Yet I am always with you; you hold me by my right hand.
You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will take me into glory.
                                                                                                Psalms 73: 23-24

Isaiah 9:6 gives an amazing name to our Lord; Wonderful Counselor. His perfect wisdom can and will guide us through all the things we face on this earth. All we need to do is to let him in.

Many listen to the counsel of their family or friends, who are as meek and have less understanding compared to the Almighty. A good Christian counselor is a great and priceless source to share with us the counsel of Almighty God. However, you know that the human counselor that we are relying upon is not always going to be available - no matter how hard they try to be! We need to get into the Holy Bible. Almighty God is always available to us all the time no matter what! I am sure that there was and never will be a time when we call out to Almighty God that we do not receive a personal reply.

The God who created this Universe, the God who holds all things together, the God who is in every way perfect, Omnipotent, Omniscient, Omnipresent makes Himself available to us at all times and in all circumstances! Think about it!! Isn’t that wonderful!

Jesus has said, ’I will never fail you. I will never forsake you.’" No matter what we are dealing with; and, no matter where we have been, Almighty God is here to listen to us, to counsel us! We need to be praying before we get into a mess, before we get lost, before our trials and tribulations come!  The best future is for those who are spiritually aligned to follow Almighty God’s counsel for life and not for those who are indifferently bent on achieving their own ends.

When we seek Almighty God’s face through prayer when we seek Almighty God’s face through the Holy Bible and when we act upon the direction that He has given us. Peace of mind and heart that Jesus promises come to us when we seek Almighty God’s counsel. The reason so many Christians are dejected today is because they neglect His Counsel!

Lets seek the counsel of the Almighty today!!

Amen! Hallelujah!!

Submit to the Lord!!

"For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, declares the Lord"
                                                                                                                                      Isaiah 55:8

There are some who always think their way is right. They have an opinion on every subject and are happy to give it to you. Sometimes we think, "Why does God allow the ungodly to prosper?" "When they are such beautiful saints why must they suffer?" We feel we can be better God than Him, deciding what has to be done for each person! What a stupidity!!

Jesus, the only begotten son of God when He prayed said "Nevertheless, not what I will, but thy will be done." We need to acknowledge His ways in our lives. What may seem good and perfect in our eyes will not be the right thing for us because we do not see the tomorrow and moreover how things are going to turnout is not known to us. We have a limited knowledge of the facts. We have no certain knowledge of our immediate future.

God does not always do what you think He should. Sometimes we think, "if the Lord would only heal him he would believe." or like the rich man in hell said to Abraham, "Send Lazarus back to warn my...". He thought if someone went to his household from heaven and told them they would repent and believe. But actually that's where Jesus came from but yet none believed!! God's plan and thought was not to send someone from each household to go back from hell and tell people to repent but to send Jesus! And that was a perfect plan because not only we get the news of the Kingdom of heaven but also a Savior, who died and rose up to save the mankind.

Our God, the creator knows everything. His understanding is incomparable. We need to trust His thoughts and ways. I believe it takes greater faith because some follow Christ to this point, then turn away. "God failed me" they say. This is really a true test of faith.

"NEITHER ARE YOUR WAYS MY WAYS SAITH THE LORD."

"FOR AS THE HEAVENS ARE HIGHER THAN THE EARTH."

God's thoughts and ways infinitely higher than yours. Commit your ways completely to the Lord. Trust in God even though you can't see or understand. God's ways are past our finding out. So submit yourselves to the plans of our God and receive the blessing He holds for us!

Amen! Hallelujah!!

Dominion of our Lord!!

for dominion belongs to the Lord and he rules over the nations.

                                                                                               Ps 22:28

When God created man the Bible tells us that He made man a little lower than the angels but man was created to be holy. God created man in His image to dwell in holiness and rule over the entirety of His creation. He did not, however, create man in equity to Himself. It was in His image He made us but not to be equals with God. Man was holy indeed. But, their was One to whom all things were subjugated and under whose domain the entire universe bowed down. That was and is the Son of God, Jesus Christ.

There was no equity between Adam and Christ beyond the knowledge of sin. Although Adam lived without sin at first, he had the capacity to sin later. Christ, the sinless Son of God, possessed power over sin. Not only did he live without sin, He dwelt in complete dominion over it.

The whole world is under Jesus. When God created Adam, He wanted Adam to rule over the world but he lost his reign to Satan. But now Jesus has the victory over Satan and hence is the reigning king of this world. He rules over the nations.

He has given us the victory; for all of us who believe on Him. We rule with Jesus. Hence we need not fear for what man will do to us or about the unpleasant or unfavorable situations we face. Jesus reigns! He has the victory! We are more than conquerors through Jesus. So rejoice!! Speak to the situation just as Jesus spoke to the winds in the sea. They will calm down and you will reach the other shore.

Brothers and sisters! Your troubling situations may seem like they are going to drown you but be of courage, the Creator is with us, the King is with us. He has the power to turn the situations and bring it under control for you. One word from Him is all you need. That's the dominion He has on everything!! Let's submit to His Dominion!!

Amen! Hallelujah!!

NOTHING IS HARD FOR THE LORD!!

Is anything too hard for the Lord?... Gen 18:14

This verse, I mean this question is the answer to all our doubts. Is anything too hard for the Creator? He made this entire universe from nothing but His words. What an amazing thing!!

The world was void, dark and empty at one point. No life. No light. No nothing. It was all condemned. Nobody could have even thought something could be done with it. But the word of God did wonders. It created everything from nothing. The world was dead but word of God brought new life; the earth.
Abraham’s and Sarah’s bodies were as good as dead. There was no life in them to produce life! But the word of God worked in them; out of bodies that were as good as dead came new life; Isaac.

Word of God speaks life into us. It is not a mammoth task for our Lord. All he needs to do is speak. My dear brothers and sisters, are you at a point where all you see is death in yourself? Your job is dead producing nothing; your family life is dead having no love or affection for each other; your relationship with your loved one is dead; Are you in this state? Well you don’t have to worry at all. The life giving word of God is at work even today with the same power it had while creating this universe.

Is anything too hard for the Lord? NO NOTHING IS HARD FOR THE LORD!! So do not worry about the dead situation in your life, just trust in the Lord. He will create life in your otherwise dead condition.

Amen! Hallelujah!!
